We are delighted to congratulate Alexandre Arsenault, Postdoctoral Researcher at the Paul Scherrer Institute (PSI), on winning one of the ESAS Young Researcher Prizes 2024 in the Large Scale category! 🏆

His award-winning work, titled “Progress on a meter-long high temperature superconducting bulk staggered array undulator”, contributes significantly to the development of next-generation superconducting technologies for large-scale research infrastructures.

The European Society for Applied Superconductivity (ESAS)  awards these prestigious prizes every two years to outstanding early-career researchers (within 3 years of PhD) whose work demonstrates originality and high scientific impact.

Alex’s research was also supported by the LEAPS INNOV  project — a testament to how EU-funded innovation within the LEAPS ecosystem fosters excellence and empowers emerging scientific leaders.

🌟 Huge congratulations, Alex, and sincere thanks to the ESAS jury for recognising this cutting-edge contribution!
