LEAPS-INNOV battery-research forum - Supercharging the clean energy transition: How can LEAPS facilities collaborate in battery research

Synchrotron and FEL based material and cell characterization sees a steep rise in demand from the battery research community and growing interest from industry, bringing new challenges for support from beamline scientists, instrumentation and access modes.

Building on the momentum related to strengthening and developing further the collaboration between facilities and user communities tackling battery research, the LEAPS-INNOV project is organising an in-person meeting 29th -31st January 2024 in Barcelona to convey thoughts and opinions gathered in previous and ongoing initiatives in this context and define concrete steps forward to address the needs of the battery community in a coordinated manner.
